Location
San Jose is in the middle of Costa Rica, in the Ventral Valley. Manuel Antonio is in the Central Pacific, 70 Kilometers south of Jaco and 3 and a half hours away from San Jose.
Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival
Meet and greed at the Juan Santamaria International Airport. One of CATs representative will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel in San Jose. Overnight at San Jose Hotel.
Day 2 Choice of one of two tours
1st Option: San José City Tour.
Visitors will be dazzled as they enter San José, the vibrant, cosmopolitan capital of Costa Rica. Predominantly of European origin, they are energetic and happy people with a deep sense of democratic tradition. Like the Paris Opera House, the classic National Theatre, completed in 1897, is breathtaking. Your city tour will also include the National or the Gold Museum. The University of Costa Rica and the Supreme Court building, along the path of beautiful, elegant, residential homes, will demonstrate fine examples of Costa Rican architecture. Your tour would not be complete without the visit of some of the country’s bargain handicrafts. Tour admissions included. Overnight at San Jose Hotel.
2nd Option: Coffee Tour.
The Coffee Tour is a multi media presentation for all ages using actors to describe coffee production from the farm to the beverage we all know. Visitors will also have a chance to sample this fine product. The Butterfly Farm offers a two hour guided tours teaching you the incredible details of the complex life cycle of some of the world’s most beautiful butterflies.
Day 3 Transfer San Jose to Manuel Antonio
After spending time in San Jose, you will travel to de mid pacific side of the country to the town Quepos, home of the Manuel Antonio National Park. Overnight at Manuel Antonio hotel.
Day 4 Manuel Antonio National Park
Follow a professional guide through one of Costa Rica’s most famous National Parks. Spectacular natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere attract many visitors to Manuel Antonio annually, venture into exploring a different world, explore a park that gathers numerous species of tropical butterflies, birds, monkeys, snakes, orchids, etc. Learn about their life cycle, their special abilities and behaviors, enjoy the guided walk inside one of the world’s finest park. Come and enjoy all the wonders you may discover in this marvelous world that awaits you. Overnight at Manuel Antonio hotel.
Day 5 and 6 At leisure
There are many things to do in Costa Rica. You can choose from white water rafting, to a dolphin tour or just work on your tan. Overnight at Manuel Antonio hotel.
Day 7 Transfer back to San Jose
After a great time at the beach, you will come back to San Jose for your last night.
Day 8 Departure
We will pick you up at the hotel and we will take you to the International Airport. We hope you had a great time in our country.
